There’s something truly amazing that happens when applying XPEL STEALTH to a white vehicle. It’s subtle, but the frosted, smooth, finish is unmistakably unique. Last week we had the opportunity to install it on this 2020 Toyota 4Runner TRD Off-Road.
A question we often get is, “What’s the difference between vinyl and PPF?”
In the car world a “wrap” can mean a couple things. It can mean wrapping the entire vehicle in vinyl to change the color, add an advertising logo, or to enhance aesthetic looks of the vehicle or it can mean covering a vehicle in paint protective film (PPF).
Unlike PPF, vinyl is purely cosmetic and provides relatively no paint protection or defense against rock chips. For this 4Runner, we did a full wrap, which means full coverage of a vehicle’s painted surfaces in PPF. Our most popular paint protection film is XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS; a beautiful additional clearcoat urethane film that protects a vehicle’s paint and provides a high gloss finish.
