1988 BMW M5  

Sometimes our XPEL install shop gets to work with classic vehicles like this iconic 1988 BMW M5. The original M5 is known as one of the best sports sedans ever produced and is considered a collector’s item among enthusiasts. This particular vintage BMW was brought to our San Antonio XPEL install center. Our trained installers tinted all the glass on the M5 with PRIME XR PLUS ™ window film. Thanks to XPEL window tint, the original leather interior is better protected against sun damage and aging. In addition, it will block 99 percent of harmful UV rays. BMW first debuted the M5 sports sedan in 1985, and the first generation ran through 1988. It featured a 3.5-liter inline-six engine producing 256-hp and 243 lb.-ft of torque. The high-performance engine was mated to a five-speed manual transmission. In the hands of professional drivers, this German family sedan could reach 60 mph in 6.7-seconds.
